Meet the maker

Funny name.
Real meaning.

I'm Tony, the maker behind UGLY Design Co. here in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

UGLY stands for “U Gotta Love You.” That's the idea behind the name: there's value in what makes you, you. Your people, your memories, your passions—and yes, your wonderfully odd ideas.

I work with wood, carving, and relief design to give those things a place outside your camera roll.

Bring an idea.
We'll give it some depth.

01 /

Tell the story.

Share the name, memory, logo, or wild idea. A rough sketch or reference photo is a great starting point.

02 /

Find the shape.

We'll work through layout, size, material, and finish. The design and price get agreed on before carving begins.

03 /

Make it yours.

From carving to final details, the goal is a piece that feels personal. Timing and delivery are worked out for your project.

What's your
kind of UGLY?

Put together a quick project brief. Don't have every detail? That's fine. Start with the part that matters.

Send your idea and reference photos here. They go to a private brief inbox for me to review—not the public gallery.

Prefer email instead? Contact udcsigns@gmail.com directly and attach photos in your email app. Choose one way to send your request.

Quotes depend on size, detail, material, and finish. A brief is a conversation starter, not an order or a price commitment.

Reference photos (optional)

Up to 3 JPEG or PNG photos, 12 MB each before resizing. Photos are optimized for review; embedded metadata is removed. HEIC/HEIF is not supported—export or save a JPEG/PNG first.

    Your project. Your choice.
